STEUBENVILLE, OH—̽������’s annual Homecoming Weekend will be held October 6-8, 2023.

The weekend will kick off with the Household Life Mass at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, October 6, in Finnegan Fieldhouse. The Alumni Banquet and Awards Ceremony will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the J.C. Williams Center and a student talent show will begin at 7:00 p.m. in Finnegan Fieldhouse.

Saturday, October 7, will feature the at 8:00 a.m., the Homecoming Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Finnegan Fieldhouse, and the St. Francis Festival, offering food, crafts, games, and inflatables, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Finnegan Fieldhouse and in front of the J.C. Williams Center.

A special alumni reunion will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Tony and Nina Gentile Gallery of the J.C. Williams Center for all alumni who graduated in years ending in 3 or 8. The “Alumni Reunion 3’s & 8’s” gives Franciscan’s alumni the perfect opportunity to reconnect and reminisce with former classmates.

There will also be an Alumni Nuptial Vow Blessing Ceremony at 4:00 p.m. in Christ the King Chapel. (Registration required.) A Festival of Praise will follow in the evening at 7:00 p.m. in Finnegan Fieldhouse.

̽������ sporting events will occur throughout the weekend. On Saturday, the Franciscan men’s rugby team will take on Slippery Rock at 1:00 p.m. There will be a women’s alumni lacrosse game at 12:00 p.m., and a men’s alumni lacrosse match at 2:00 p.m. The ever popular Alumni Beer Tent will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Upper Rugby Field. The Franciscan Invitational tournament will start at 2:00 p.m. at the Steubenville Country Club.
